Wine For Weight Loss… Yup, It’s True!

    In life, there’s a lot of things that seem to good to be true, and usually they are. But, finally we have found one thing that isn’t — wine aiding in weight loss. Yes, wine really is just that wonderful after all (please note: I knew it all along).

    While we’ve all heard the rumors that red wine can help keep you looking right, how exactly it works its magic was kind of kept under wraps… until now.

    In case you were wondering just how a little vino can help you get lean-o, look no further and allow us to school you…



    According to a study, Washington State University scientists found that resveratrol, a polyphenol found in red wine, can help transform stubborn white fat into burnable brown fat. Yes, please.



    If you’re a midnight-snacker, put down the chips, and pour yourself a glass of wine instead. A study conducted in 2012, which observed the effects of resveratrol on bees, found that it can also help curb appetite. Yup, wine fills you up so you won’t even need those fatty foods.



    Another study at Harvard examined 20,000 women over 13 years and saw that those who drank two glasses of wine daily were 70% less likely to be overweight. Coincidence? We think not.
