Starting With the Man in the Mirror: How Men’s Health Coach Daniel Kelly Saw His Calling in Life

Daniel Kelly is a men’s health coach that specializes in elite performance through nutrition, hormone optimization, and lifestyle change. He has been recognized in the United Kingdom for his inspiring work to change men’s lives. This also landed him on the pages of national newspapers such as The Guardian, The Sun, and the Staffordshire Sentinel.

But before Daniel began working on helping other men become optimized in health, he worked in investment banking. It wasn’t until he experienced the anguish of low testosterone that he decided to start his own coaching business.

    Free From the ‘Golden Handcuffs’

“When I left school I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I was a bit lost if I’m honest, so I followed the happy life starter pack society encourages you to follow,” Daniel said.

He eventually got a job at a prestigious investment bank and slowly worked his way up the corporate ladder. Daniel later began working in Canary Wharf, London’s financial heartbeat and along the way, he even managed to land a job at Goldman Sachs. But even though he was living the “ideal life,” Daniel felt dead inside, racking his brains and searching the depths of his soul to figure out why.

“I was unwittingly in a prison of my own making and wearing ‘golden handcuffs.’ Too highly paid and absorbed in the comfortable trappings of city life to a way out,” he said.

But when he saw the results of his routine blood test, Daniel’s life would take a sharp turn and propel him to a career that’s much different from where he began.

    Taking Control of His Life

Seeing that working out didn’t do much for his low testosterone levels, Daniel decided to undergo testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) since he had done mostly everything to optimize his testosterone levels.

“It was a life-changing experience in many ways. But it wasn’t until a few years later that it dawned on me that I could have experienced the same changes without testosterone,” Daniel said.

He realized that if he had exercised proper sleep quality, gut health, stress, nutrition, and hormones, then he would have never undergone testosterone replacement therapy.

As a result, he started a coaching business that’s focused predominantly on teaching men how to optimize their health without the need for medication so they can rely on themselves and not on other factors.
