Nathan Latka, The Godfather of Podcasting Interview with New Theory

If you follow podcasts like me, you most likely heard of Nathan Latka. He took business and entrepreneurial podcasting to another level.

With over 4,000,000 downloads and earned seven figures since its launch, it may be time to grab a cheap mic from Radio Shack (is that still around) and download Audacity recorder and start your show.

If only if it was that easy. Nathan started the “Top Podcast” (brilliant name for SEO purposes) as has logged just south of 700 episodes. He doesn’t just talk the talk but also had some nice entrepreneurial exits of his own.

Listen in and learn that his biggest win was his $5 million sale of heyo.com. Also why he bought a food truck on the fly for $16,000.

This interview with the Godfather of Podcasts is a must listen for Nathan Latka fans and even better for those who will join the Latka tribe after hearing this episode (guaranteed).

How is Nathan the Godfather of podcasting? Many have called his strategies unethical and thus leading to false numbers.

he has been called out for email spamming and so forth. I remain a fan of his but respect your opinion as well.

I have never even heard of this person. Sorry he is not the Godfather of podcasting.

I might have been a bit aggressive with the moniker, but I’m a big fan of his. Hopefully you can find other shows that we did worth your valuable time. Thanks for the comment nevertheless

Tom, I highly recommend you get that Kool-aid you drank tested quickly, and you might want to invest in a stomach pump.

I get it, your not a Nathan fan. I agree that he can be polarizing… Hope that you can check out Jeremy Ryan Slate who was also on the podcast who I feel is an up and comer.

This guy isn’t The Godfather of anything, much less podcasting. This is a joke right? If YOU knew anything about podcasting you’d already know who is well known for that title, and by the way it isn’t anyone with a business show.

        Hi Jess,

I am aware of Adam Curry and am a big fan I really enjoyed my interview with Nathan, but I also respect your point of view as well.
