Experimentation

    - Valid

    Spending time being an adult

Offer an offending  rhyme beamed at the cult.

I’d rather be a kid again.

I’d rather treat and trick again.

To when my Spider-Man costume fit again.

    This enduring experiment

Has me concurring in fear again

Money hungry; hoping the sun be

Shining the path so may one see.

Adulting is a drug, what harm can one be?

This year’s resolution worked as the last did.

So now I’ve hunted and harassed it.

Seen my reflection and asked it

Do you see what your stupid ass did?

opportunities came and you passed it.

    Being young at heart

While the adult world tears me apart

God took my arm but shares me an art

To articulate words into a Valid verse.

Diplomatic scrutiny in mutiny and immunity.

On this 9/11; Remember the Fallen

    Praise the brave

Finally raise the flag of the free.

For every police pistol’s unjust kill

    I’m back on one knee.

    America the failed experiment.

    With a depressing endearment

    The progressing spear hit.

Today we see Lady Liberty’s worst.

All rise and salute Liberty’s hearse.
