With all of the celebs that are out there, there’s a sh*t ton of stars for us lay people (AKA basics) to look up to — but, when it comes to having a spirit animal amongst them, Chrissy Teigen is hands-down my go-to girl.
Not only do I look up to Chrissy Teigen because I’m physically forced to — she’s 5’9, I’m 5’2, you do the math — but, I look up to her because I want to. This is my choice, okay?! And, while I’m well aware that there’s no such thing as being perfect, I’m telling ya, my girl Chris T (yes, I’d like to believe we’re on a nickname basis) is about as close as it comes.
To put it simply, I just love Chrissy Teigen; I love Chrissy Teigen so much that if she knocked me out, I’d most likely get back up and hug her. But, if you’re in need of a more detailed explanation as to why I’d let her punching me in the face slide, here are 8 reasons why Chrissy Teigen can actually do no wrong… and I mean LITERALLY NONE:
1. SHE CELEBRATES HER IMPERFECTIONS
Whether it’s showing off her stretch marks or sharing an unflattering selfie, Chrissy never filters herself, and for that, I am forever thankful. Shout out to my girl for always keeping it real.
2. SHE KNOWS HOW TO EAT & LOOK PERFECT AT THE SAME DAMN TIME
You know what they say — you’ve got to give credit where it’s due — and to this chick who knows how to serve face while also stuffing it, madd props are in order.
3. PLUS, SHE DOESN’T JUST EAT THE FOOD… SHE COOKS IT
In case you missed it, Chrissy is practically a master chef, fully equipped with her own cook book and all. This girl knows how to throw down in the kitchen, and then there’s me, who struggles to pour a bowl of cereal. Yup, I guess you could say I’m just a little envious.
4. SHE UNDERSTANDS THE STRUGGLE
Although Chrissy may be rich and famous, she still struggles just like the rest of us! #FirstWorldProblems are totally a thing, and Chrissy isn’t afraid to admit she’s got ’em.
5. SHE’S HILARIOUS
Not only is a Chrissy a flawless model, but she’s also funny as f*ck. Good looks and a good personality? It’s official: I’m switching teams.
6. SHE & HUBBY JOHN LEGEND ARE ACTUAL #RELATIONSHIPGOALS
Nothing gives me a serious case of the #feels quite like these two. All of me loves all of them.

No matter what’s on Chrissy’s mind, she’s saying it. Even if it’s an unpopular opinion, she stands by it and never backs down.
8. SHE’S OBSESSED WITH DOGS
People who love dogs are my favorite kind of people. And, Chrissy is OBSESSED with her dogs, which means naturally, I’m OBSESSED with her.
