    #6.  Sweet Corn Festival – August 15th,  Upper Freehold

    Historic Walnford
    Saturday, August 15 from 1-4 p.m.

    Celebrate summer with the 3rd Annual Sweet Corn Festival. Take in the surroundings of this historical site all while enjoying live music, corn themed crafts and activities for children, the climbing wall and so much more.

    #5.  Trenton African American Cultural Festival – August 15th, Cadwalader Park

     (Main Entrance on Parkside Ave.)

    Following the legacy of the African American culture’s Juneteenth celebration, the goal of the festival is to inspire an appreciation for the diversity, influence and contributions of the African Diaspora.  This festival is an annual celebration of culture, history, arts and heritage and traditions.

    The festival is free and open to all.

     

    #4.  “Truck”erton Food Truck & Brew Fest – August 15th & 16th, Tuckerton

    Tuckerton Seaport –  (Sat: 11-9, Sun: 11-7)

    The Seaport will host 20 gourmet food trucks over the two days from all over the East Coast.  Enjoy live music throughout the day and the craft beer garden with NJ’s favorites on tap, featuring local favorite Pinelands Brewing Co. The Garden State’s Valenzano Winery will also be selling local wines by the bottle.

    3.  Pinelands Music Festival – August 15th, Millville

     

    8000 Dividing Creek Road

    Pinelands Music Festival is an all-day music event.  It will showcase some of the nations leading Alternative and Indie rock artists. The festival will host up to thirty artists over three stages. 
    General Admission Tickets start at $50 for the day.

    #2.  Trenton Punk Rock Fleamarket – August 16th, Trenton

    675 South Clinton Avenue, Trenton

    The Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market is a punk rock-inspired flea market that takes place three times per year.  There are 200+ vendors from more than eight states…there will be antiques, original artwork, posters, jewelry, clothing, and many more unique collectables.

    Admission is $4 and it’s family friendly event, so bring the kids!

     

     

    1.  Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off – August 15 & 16, Monmouth Park

    Annual two-day Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off.   It’s not just crab cakes…there’s also other seafood such as lobster rolls and chowder.

    Live music and live Thoroughbred racing!  You can’t ask for more excitement than that!
