SideTrak Monitor Product Review

The SideTrak Monitor is a portable, easy-to-use second monitor that attaches to the back of your laptop, providing an extra screen space for increased productivity. As someone who spends a significant amount of time on my laptop for work, I was excited to try out this product and see if it lived up to its promises.

First and foremost, the setup was incredibly easy. All I had to do was attach the magnetic brackets to the back of my laptop and plug in the USB-C cable to my laptop’s port. The monitor was up and running in just a few minutes. The magnetic brackets were strong enough to hold the monitor securely in place, but also allowed for easy removal when I wanted to pack up and go.

The monitor itself is 12.5 inches, which is a great size for a portable second monitor. It’s also lightweight, weighing in at just over a pound, so it’s easy to carry around. The screen resolution is 1920×1080, which is sharp and clear. I used the monitor for everything from email and web browsing to video editing and found it to be a great addition to my workspace.

One of the things I really appreciated about the SideTrak Monitor is that it’s compatible with both Mac and Windows laptops. I use a MacBook Pro for work, and it worked seamlessly with my laptop. I didn’t have to download any drivers or software – it just worked. The monitor also has a built-in kickstand, which is adjustable to find the perfect angle for viewing.

Another feature I really appreciated was the ability to rotate the monitor 180 degrees. This allowed me to use it in portrait mode, which is great for reading long documents or webpages. The monitor also has a blue light filter, which reduces eye strain during long work sessions. This is an especially important feature for me since I spend so much time in front of a computer screen.

The SideTrak Monitor is also great for anyone who travels frequently for work. It’s slim enough to fit in a laptop bag or backpack and doesn’t take up much space. I found it to be a great addition to my work setup during flights or train rides.

Overall, I was very impressed with the SideTrak Monitor. It’s easy to set up, lightweight, and portable, making it a great addition to any workspace. The adjustable kickstand and 180-degree rotation make it easy to find the perfect angle for viewing, and the blue light filter is a nice bonus for reducing eye strain. If you’re someone who spends a lot of time on your laptop for work, I highly recommend giving the SideTrak Monitor a try.
