Though I am not one of these people, most of society today is accustomed to rejecting the unfamiliar. Let’s face it, that is our culture. We are lazy and afraid to adapt to change. But, if you think that is going to stop change from coming… well, you should know better.
Behold! Instagram, one of our favorite apps for sharing our life stories with complete strangers, has made yet another change.
The Facebook owned app has decided that it was time to modernize a bit and go forward with a logo face-lift. The originally poloraid-esque logo has upgraded to a more colorful design in hopes to better reflect its current community.
As you can imagine, there have been “mixed” reviews post-update… and that’s putting it gently.
See for yourself how users feel about the changes (via. Twitter):

I refuse to update Instagram for the single reason of not letting of the old icon until I have fully prepared myself.

I refuse to download the new Instagram update because I sense frustrating unnecessary change.
