How Sunil Kumar Built A Successful Real Estate Agency Through Honesty and Hard Work

    Sunil Kumar is the owner and CEO of Reliance Real Estate, the fastest-growing real estate company in Australia. How it all started and what helped him achieve great success in just a couple of years?

    Sunil moved to Australia in 2004 to complete his Masters in Professional Accounting. He didn’t have much money, but he had something more important: a dream and a willingness to work hard to achieve his dream. As he was always hard-working, he started doing door-to-door sales to make ends meet. He was a dedicated student, but he had to work at the same time, and he learned that everything in life is about balance.

    That sales job was very important for him because he realized that his favorite part of the job was meeting new people, creating meaningful relationships and giving service to people. So when he started a career in the real estate sector in 2007 he noticed that real estate customer service was poor and that it could be improved. He saw that as an opportunity to grow and help people. 

    He established Reliance Real Estate in May 2011. The company was founded with the aim to bridge the gap that he previously noticed in real estate customer service. He started small, in one office, but he had a great vision that he soon accomplished!

    It was never about the money because Sunil knew that people were more important than money. His mission was to serve and help others. He measured the success of his company by how many people it helped to achieve their goals. The most important company’s value is treating its customers with respect.

    Today, eight years later, Reliance Real Estate is the fastest-growing real estate company in Australia. It has 8 offices in Melbourne’s West. Sunil accomplished his dream, so he now has a company that is helping Australians buy, sell and lease their houses. The company was awarded three times in a row, but Sunil still says that his favorite award is the trust of his customers.

    When we think about the success that the company achieved in just a couple of years, we have to emphasize that it all happened because of Sunil’s great leadership skills. He built his company through respect, trust, and honesty. He is not a boss, he is the leader and that’s why his employees respect him. He is teaching by his own example, that anything is possible and that you can achieve anything through hard work and dedication. He created a team where all members have the opportunity to grow together with the company.

    Sunil Kumar is a great example for young people who have a vision. His example shows that values such as honesty and dedication can take you far, even if you don’t have resources at the beginning. He didn’t wait for the opportunities to show up, he created opportunities himself.

    Where others saw a problem, he saw a challenge that could be solved, and he worked hard to do it. It is interesting that now that he manages a successful company, his values haven’t changed. He is the same man, whose highest priorities are trust and respect for others. His actions show that he is always ready to help people and that the satisfaction of his customers is what makes him happy.
