The tech trend is a fairly new trend that developed in Asia, mostly Japan, and is a style that focuses on function. The colors are dark – mostly black – and don’t leave much room for any other colors.
The special about the tech trend isn’t that it feels futuristic, even though it does, but the fact that despite the simple color blocking of the outfits – it feels somewhat fresh. The style consists mostly of mixing clothing that has a lot of utility and purpose. This means that jackets that have a lot of pockets, zippers and room are the choice and cargo pants are the preferred pants. For shoes, it is the oversized sneaker or even a very dark sneaker boot. The whole fit is complimented with a cross-body bag or a backpack with a lot of room.
