In partnership with Neiman Marcus, the brand will showcase the collection on Wednesday, April 13 at NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. Just one week before the infamous Coachella, the show will feature the much anticipated alice + olivia x Grateful Dead capsule collection along with limited edition items from the Spring 2016 collection. The fabulous Ken Downing, Senior Vice President and Fashion Director of Neiman Marcus, will co-style the runway show along with designer Stacey Bendet, CEO and Creative Director of alice + olivia. Recently, the CFDA council members reached a consensus on “the need for change” in the iconic Fashion Week and the urgent call for designers to deliver collections to consumers with emphasis on the present season and the concept of now, “that deliveries must better match the actual, physical season and our consumers’ behaviors and needs.” Due to this – not surprisingly – alice + olivia was amongst the first brand to jump to its feet. Thanks to Bendet, the trendy brand will now be showing the world of fashion its revolutionary See-Now-Buy-Now runway collection; a fresh and avant-garde collection in tune with today’s fast-paced society.
