My brother isn’t like most men. He’s loves deeper than anyone I’ve ever known. When he falls, he falls hard and he doesn’t just fall for anyone; so for him to love you as much as he does must mean you’re amazing.
If you haven’t already learned this, let me assure you of a few things. His hugs will heal your broken heart and his words will make the world seem a little bit brighter. He doesn’t always make the best choices, but he will always have your best intentions in mind. He’s funny and crazy and silly and everything else you would ever expect a man to be; but he’s still learning, so remember to go a little easy on him if he gets something wrong.
He speaks of you in the most beautiful way. His eyes light up, his smile brightens, his spirit comes alive in a way I’ve never seen. To be frank, you make him happier than anything or anyone else ever has.
He has a heart of gold which sometimes gets him in trouble. Please try to protect it as best as you can. I know him, I know he will give you the life you’ve always dreamt of. He will always be faithful, he will always take care of you. My brother will give you the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his pocket- please always remember how rare that is.
He will make the most amazing father in the world when the time comes, that I’d bet my life on. You will never have to worry about him being in your children’s lives or not taking care of his babies. He would die before he let anything harm the people he loves.
I can never explain to you how much he means to me. I could never explain our memories and what lengths I would go to in order to make sure he is happy and safe. He is a part of my heart and soul that I could not live without, which Is why I need you to make me this promise.
Promise to always love him with pure intentions. If he ever falls apart, be there to pick him up and tell him it’s going to be okay. Promise that you will always be faithful, because if he lost you that way, I don’t think he would ever recover.
Promise me that you will always take care of yourself. He wants to spend forever with you, he wants to build a life with you. So please do all that you can in order to stay on the planet as long as possible. I know life gets hard and things change, but if you only keep one promise to me for the rest of your life, let it be this:
I won’t always be here to protect him. I will move heaven and earth to, but there will come a day where I’m no longer around. Please make sure that you love him and help him through each and every day of his life. Please take my place in making sure he has everything he needs and that he is never alone. I also have a promise to make to you.
I promise you, on my life, that my brother will be the greatest man you ever love.
You mean everything to him, therefore you now mean everything to me. Guard his heart as he does yours. You are becoming a part of our family, and all I can say is thank you. You are his fairy tale. You are his queen. Please take care of my other half, you are the most important person in his life and he is the most important one in mine.
