7 Tips To Help Get Ready Faster In The Morning

I don’t know about you, but I am not a morning person. I will wake up at the absolute latest time I can before I have to get out the door. Even after I set 5 different alarms, I never seem to want to get out of my comfy bed especially on Mondays. Everyone experiences those days where you sleep through your alarm and wake up late. Instead of panicking over the little time there is left to shower, there are some tricks to help you look fresh and ready. Here are some tips on how to get ready quickly!

    1. Use the same product for your eyes, cheeks, and lips.

Foundation and powder work wonders. And you only have to use one for your entire face. It will take away any tired lines or uneven skin tones. You’ll have a fresh face in seconds.

    2. Curl your eyelashes and apply a couple of coats of mascara

Curling your lashes will make them seem longer and it only takes a few seconds. Keep them in place by applying a few coats of mascara. It’s quite remarkable what mascara only can do to your appearance.

    3. Braid your hair the night before

Braiding your hair before going to sleep will keep your hair from frizzing up and will give you sweet curls in the morning when you take them out.

    4. Apply red lipstick only

Much like mascara, applying a simple red lipstick to a fresh face can make you go from blah to WOW in just two strokes. Always keep an emergency lipstick in your purse and you’ll be good to go for the day.

    5. Use a shine spray to make curly hair look lively

Shine spray is actually good for any type of hair. Regardless if it’s straight or curly, shine spray can make your hair look freshly cleaned and conditioned and it doesn’t leave a sticky residue like regular hair spray.

    6. Use lipstick as blush

This is a trick my mom taught me when I was younger. A rosey lipstick or even a bright red one can act as a blush. All you need is a dot or small line across your cheek bone and then blend through. It will last you longer than powder blush too.

    7. Use baby powder on greasy hair

If you didn’t have time to wash your hair but you notice that it’s getting a bit greasy, just use some baby powder on your roots and then brush it out. It will conceal any unwanted shine do to oily hair.

Whether you want to sleep in a little longer or ran out of time to do your makeup, these quick tips should help anyone in need of a fast morning makeover.
