2019’s Most Popular Male Plastic Surgery Procedures Have Been Revealed

2019 has been an incredibly exciting year in the world of male plastic surgery. Throughout the entire year, Dr. Steinbrech has seen countless male patients who are beginning to explore the benefits of plastic surgery and what it can do for their lives. As plastic surgery continues to grow among men, the types of plastic surgery that are being asked for continues to change.

For the longest time, the most commonly-requested surgical procedures at his firm were fairly simple and mainstream. Rhinoplasty, liposuction, and abdominoplasty were some of the biggest hits. However, Dr. Steinbrech noticed a very drastic change this year, and it’s absolutely one that’s worth pointing out.

“For the first time, I have started to see more patients requesting multiple procedures than a simple ‘one off,” he said. “This is a major change, and it’s one that I feel shows how men are truly starting to change their views on cosmetic procedures.”

    The Daddy Do Over

This year, the most popular cosmetic upgrade men have requested is a package called the Daddy Do Over, or the Athletic Dad. This process uses Hi Def Liposculpting to help add definition to men’s abdomen, calf implants, and buttock implants to get rid of “Dad bod” problems.

The Daddy Do Over has become the male version of the Mommy Makeover, and its reception has made it extremely popular among men between the ages of 30 to 45. According to Dr. Steinbrech, his procedure has even been credited with saving some marriages.

    Lipo Wins Again

The second most popular procedure is liposuction, which is to be expected. Liposuction is currently the most highly demanded aesthetic procedure for every demographic. Since liposuction allows you to remove fat from virtually any part of your body, it only makes sense that men, too, might ask for a more streamlined look.

Steinbrech himself isn’t surprised, saying, “Lipo and bodysculpting will always be a major interest. Who doesn’t want to look thin and toned?”

    The Male Model Makeover

Rounding out the top three men’s procedures for 2019 is one that may surprise many of you: the Male Model Makeover. This set of facial alterations is designed to give men the Hollywood-ready, hyper-photogenic look of a male fashion model. Using fillers, Dr. Steinbrech adds volume to a man’s nose, lips, cheekbones and jawline to create a more modelesque look.

The procedure was initially started as a way to help cater to his growing base of actors and male models, however it’s picked up steam with men of all ages. According to Dr. Steinbrech, younger men have started to get this procedure as a way to improve their dating life, gain more followers on social media, and even boost their career.

    The Moral of the Story

To some, seeing the boom in male plastic surgery may appear shallow, but it’s really not. Men, just like women, get cosmetic procedures done because they want their lives to improve and because they want to be the best they can be.

As this unique niche continues to evolve, we can expect to see happier, healthier men who embrace the idea of self-improvement on all levels. If you ask me, that’s a great thing to witness.
